PaCT was absolutely thrilled to host @Bill Handerson, a parent of Wellington College a prestigious school in the UK, and his wonderful group of 7 volunteers from June 30th – July 14th, 2024! Their time with us was filled with community engagement, hands-on development activities, and a deep commitment to making a lasting impact.
During their two-week stay, Bill and his team participated in a range of meaningful initiatives that touched the lives of many in the communities we serve: Visiting OVC Homes, Touring the Maternity Ward Construction, Sensitizing Mothers on Heart Disease Prevention, Participated in teaching in Primary Schools, Playing Football with Students, Touring one of the biggest Coffee farm in Kassanda district called Lwankuba Coffee farm, Making Washing Soap, Painting Handwashing Facilities & Latrines, Participating in Constructing a Water Tank and handpump among others
