Our Model

At Partners for Community Transformation (PaCT), we empower adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) to thrive economically, socially, and personally through a holistic, rights-based approach. Our flagship initiative, the She-Is-Able Programme (SAP), is structured around three strategic pillars.

Pillar 1

Economic Activation & Inclusion

We strengthen AGYW’s participation in the economy by building their skills and linking them to opportunities. Our interventions span:

Skills and Asset Access:

Technical and vocational training, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and start-up support.

Market Access & Financing:

Linkages to markets, financial services (e.g., VSLAs), and support in navigating the business environment.

Pillar 2

Social Protection & Wellbeing

We promote safety, health, education, and dignity through integrated support systems that foster resilience and wellbeing:

WASH:

Ensuring access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education.

Education Support:

Scholarships, parental engagement, improved learning environments, and career guidance.

GBV Prevention & Response:

Community protection systems, safe spaces, male engagement, and social asset building.

Integrated Health Services:

Youth-friendly healthcare, sexuality education, HIV prevention, and mental health support.

Pillar 3

Personal Development & Leadership

We nurture self-confidence, leadership, and functional literacy among AGYW to enhance their agency and participation:

Social Agency:

Building self-esteem, mentorship, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Leadership Development:

Public speaking, communication, critical thinking, and life skills for civic and economic engagement.

how we do it.

PaCT delivers its programming through an integrated, community-driven model rooted in sustainability, participation, and innovation. Our core principles include:

Still have questions?

Get in-touch for some answers.

Promoting financial independence through income-generating ventures that reduce donor dependency.

Collaborating with stakeholders to align interventions, amplify impact, and influence policy for systemic change.

Using evidence, participatory research, and tech-enabled solutions to adapt and refine our models.

Embedding AGYW leadership throughout program design, implementation, and advocacy to reinforce agency and civic engagement.

Leveraging trusted local actors—including AGYW and youth influencers—to drive grassroots mobilization and ensure culturally relevant, sustainable service delivery.
