Recognizing Water to Thrive for building Sustainable WASH Solutions in Uganda

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Water to Thrive for their significant contribution to improving WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) in Ugandan communities. Through your generous support, 229 water points have been constructed, providing safe and reliable water access to over 92,000 individuals across the district.

Each water point is managed by a trained Water Management Committee, ensuring sustainability and community ownership. Your funding has enabled over 66,000 people to receive key sanitation and hygiene messages, while more than 8,000 learners in schools have been engaged in hygiene education, promoting healthy practices from an early age.

The formation of Sub-County Sanitation Task Forces has enhanced local governance, while the establishment of WASH corners as model households has created hubs for practical learning and replication.
